Railroad Days
- Rides all day on Train, Doodlebug, and Motorcars. Tour Prairie Village`s historical buildings. Roundhouse Open for Touring Steam Locomotives and Turntable. Model Train Layouts, Tour the ‘Emmanuel’ Chapel Car. Trackless train rides around the village streets both days! Free Hobo stew served on Sunday. The gift shop is open and there are demonstrations, music, and more. Located two miles west of Madison on Highway 34. Madison Fireworks Display
- The Madison Fire Department will be presenting the Annual Fireworks Display on July 4th at 10 PM. The Fireworks will be shot off at the Isaac Walton Grounds off the North Shore of Lake Herman. Madison Car Show

Annual Steam Threshing Jamboree
- Be part of this huge Prairie Village event. It’s three big days featuring parades, the largest flea market in the area, steam and horse threshing, machinery demonstrations, truck and tractor pulls, train and carousel rides, free musical entertainment, exhibits, food and family fun. Electrical camp sites by reservation. Accommodations for all additional campers if they desire to camp without electricity (dry lot). No reservations are required for the dry lot area and generators are welcome in that area only. Last year 169 campers took advantage of this opportunity. Golf cart rentals will be available during Jamboree until the supply is exhausted, cash or check only.
