12 - 15 Fort Union Rendezvous - Nineteenth-century fur trading fair includes a variety of historic period arts, crafts, music and interpreters. This annual gathering is its largest event, a time when Fort Union comes alive and best reflects the busy trade season. Over 100 Re-enactors from across the country and Canada every third weekend in June demonstrating traditional skills and lifeways.

5 - 6 Annual Fort Buford Sixth Infantry Encampment - Join the Sixth Infantry Regimental Association and State Historical Society of North Dakota for life within Fort Buford during it's early history. Historic demonstrations, and tales of Army life, laundresses, signal core, with lots of marching. 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 each day.

18 Cemetery Walk - Meet past inhabitants of the region on the guided evening tour of the Fort Buford Cemetery. Costumed reenactors portray fur traders, laundresses and infantry soldiers. Appropriate for all ages. Candy and warm drinks available in the mess hall. 6:30pm - 8:15pm.
