Adventure Shoals

Adventure Shoals offers everything you want to do on Alabama's beautiful Cahaba River. From tubing, fishing, kayaking, camping or just enjoying the wildlife, Adventure Shoals will provide a safe and exciting trip for all ages. We are located about 20 minutes from Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama.

Grab you swim suit, cooler, a couple of friends and let's hit the river. A typical trip lasts from 2 to 3 hours but you are welcome to spend as much time on the river as you would like.

Once you arrive at Adventure Shoals, we'll take you to the exit point where you can leave your car. Then we will take you to the entrance point.

There are several places along the way to stop and take a break. You will end your trip where you parked your car so it is up to you when you leave. There's also a large sand bar with a picnic table and grill at the end of the trip so bring your favorite food and fire up the grill!
