This 1899 Rock Island depot, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, houses an extensive operating model railroad, historic photos, dining car memorabilia,and uniforms. One of three remaining examples of the rotary cell jails, this three-story brick structure was completed in 1885 and featured a cage that rotated to allow jailers a view of all cells from a single vantage point. Listed on National Register of Historic Places.
