Health, Wellness and Nutrition Workshops.
We are at war - a war for the nutritional health of our children and families.
Obesity, A.D.D., Type 2 diabetes, heart disease and cancer are rising significantly among our children and youth. The Center for Disease Prevention is predicting that this generation may be the only generation in modern history where the kids may not outlive their parents. This is frightening news! We have to wake up and do something about this growing health problem among our kids.
Nutrition is the "blink Spot" of parenting today, and sadly out children and paying the price. There
s a tremendous need to educate our parents and children on the importance of proper nutrition. Knowing the need Dr. William Sears, Pediatrician and a group of concerned moms and teachers have developed for parents and kids, The Healthy Happy Kids Campaign.
This is a free workshop offered to schools to educate families about proper nutrition. Workshops are scheduled to best fit the group's needs. We suggest that organization such as the PTA, Church Groups, Clubs, Businesses, Women Organization, Daycares, Wee Schools, and other group/organizations make these workshops available to their members. Let's join together in helping our children and families to have healthier lifestyles and touch future generations!
