Welcome to Saint Rose Grammar School, a close-knit community that is affectionately known by our students as their home away from home. Located in beautiful Belmar, New Jersey, and an iconic fixture in the region since 1921, Saint Rose celebrates a rich history of nurturing children from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade while providing a rigorous academic and faith-based environment.

Our goal is simple: To build a community of growing individuals, questing for knowledge, deepened in faith and committed to the service of humankind. Accredited by the Commission on Elementary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, we are proud to report that a leading percentage of our students achieve high Terra Nova test scores, indicative of students exceeding grade level proficiency.

At Saint Rose, we nurture and refine each student’s religious, intellectual, personal and physical development that families initiate in the home. Beginning in Pre-Kindergarten, our students at every grade level study a variety of subjects, including computers, mathematics, language arts, religion, history, art, music and Spanish. In addition, our children are guided through the celebration of the Sacraments of Penance, Communion, and Confirmation, which initiate them into the life of the Church. The children of Saint Rose also have the opportunity to enhance their love of learning through our premier extracurricular activities, including a number of academic clubs, athletics, band and enrichment programs.

Together, these academic, spiritual and extracurricular experiences instill in our children a love and appreciation for themselves, their community, education and faith. Our graduates enter high school not only well prepared for the rigors of higher-level academics, but also with a strong sense of self and a solid foundation of the traditions and teachings of the Catholic Church.
