A down home, any meal of the day type of restaurant. Featuring a breaded tenderloin sandwich,{over 1 million served} fries and a milk shake made with hand dipped flavors for a lunch or dinner meal. Health conscious meals and age apportioned selections have made this "family gathering" restaurant a favorite "where the ketchup is always on the table." The 50's memorabilia is only secondary to the food in all of their locations.
A restored narrow-gauge geared locomotive, known as the Shay Locomotive, was built in 1925 by the Lima Locomotive Works and is located at the Allen County Museum Complex.
For a period of almost 70 years, the Lima Locomotive Works built 2,761 Shay locomotives, the last in 1945
The Lincoln Park Railway Exhibit features a Nickel Plate 779, the last steam engine ever built in Lima, Ohio at the Lima Locomotive Works. You will also find a luxurious private car, built in 1883 and a Nickel Plate caboose built in 1882 and an authentically equipped 1895
