Prairie Fire Festival
- A celebration of the annual Chase County ritual of pasture burning. We'll celebrate through the arts - paintings, photography, quilts, crafts, music, live theatre. Seminars Monday and Tuesday evenings. On Wednesday evening, a round-table discussion, "Chase County Remembers", featuring some of our older Chase Countians remembering the "good old days" of our county's history. An evening performance of "Native Stone" on Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon, a play written for and about an early Chase County family. Street Dance with The ED THOMPSON Band
- Bring your dancin' shoes and your lawn chairs and come join us on Broadway for an evening of music and dancing. The ED THOMPSON Band performed for us in July.......and the wonderful Country/Western music was SOOO danceable, that we've asked them back for a Street Dance.
