27 Eagle Weekend - Come celebrate the American Bald Eagle and all of Northwest Alabama's birds. On Fri., Alabama Non-Game Biologist Keith Hudson will present the success story of the Alabama eagle restoration project and share the latest statistics of their recovery. On Sat. or Sun., explore the many waterfowl species of Wheeler Wildlife Refuge, enjoy the North Alabama Birding tour, visit Waterloo, known for its concentration of wintering eagles and many varieties of waterfowl, or experience the waterways of Wheeler Lake aboard a pontoon boat with Capt. Steve Graham.

21 - 6 Winterfest Jr. - § Winterfest Junior is open to artists ages 6-19 who reside in Marshall County or attend a school in Marshall County.
§ Entrance fee is $5.
§ One 2-dimensional (painting, photograph, print or wallhanging) and one 3-dimensiaonal piece (sculpture, fabric, painted furniture, etc.) per artists ONLY.
§ Artwork must have been completed in the last two years by the entrant and must be the original work of the entrant.
§ It is strongly suggested 2-dimensional work be matted and shrink-wrapped. We cannot be responsible for the condition of unprotected artwork. Framing of any piece is optional.
§ Three-dimensional art (sculpture, furniture, clothing, jewelry etc.) must be of reasonable size for one person to move.
§ Cash awards will be given in each age category. They will consist of first place, second place, and third place. Honorable mentions may also be awarded, as well as subject, theme, use of color and other awards. People's Choice Awards in each age category will be voted on by visitors to the show and will be announced at the close of the exhibit. All participants will receive a certificate.

2 - 13 WInterfest Juried Fine Arts Competition & Exhibition - A national juried exhibition featuring painting, digital art, sculpture and other fine crafts.

Winterfest Juried Fine Art Competition (formerly Springfest) is an adult, juried fine art exhibition, not to be confused with the annual Winterfest Jr. Competition, which is for all school students in Marshall County.

16 - 17 ART ON THE LAKE - The 21st Century Club of Guntersville will hold the annual ART ON THE LAKE on Sunset Drive at Carlisle Park Middle School. This arts and crafts show funds the club's college scholarships for local students. Oringinal arts and crafts in categories will on display for viewing and purchasing both Sat. and Sun. Ribbons, cash prizes and purchase wards will be given. Added attractions will be children's activities, food vendors, games, live entertainment and a bake sale. An excellent family outing.
