8 "Paint the Town" Fundraiser - This event will be held in the South Block of Old Alabama Town beginning at 6:30 pm. Local artists David Braly, George Taylor, Camilla Armstrong, Barrett Bailey, Mark Dauber, Jeanie McRae, M Bagwell Gallery and Clark Walker have donated one-of-a kind pieces that guests will have a chance to win. The cost is $50 per person. A portion of your ticket is tax deductible. Dinner, drinks and live music will be provided. Proceeds go to Old Alabama Town's education programs. 24 - 29 Principal Family Fun Fest - Fans should plan to come early when The Principal Family Fun Fest makes three stops in Alabama this season! Created and produced by Entertainment & Sports International (ESI), the 4000 square foot Principal Family Fun Fest will visit Birmingham (Hoover Metropolitan Stadium - April 16), Mobile (Hank Aaron Stadium - April 19) and Huntsville (Joe W. Davis Municipal Stadium - April 21). Tickets are available at the stadiums' ticket office.

ESI's Principal Family Fun Fest is an unprecedented, and completely free, celebration of baseball which will visit 50 different minor league baseball ballparks during the 2006 season with a special appearance in Cooperstown, NY, at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum for the Hall of Fame Game on May 15th.

The Principal Family Fun Fest is the most extensive traveling baseball festival in history and features more than 20 baseball themed attractions including a minor league baseball museum, Xbox 360 Home Run Derby video game trailer, and a fan festival midway with batting and pitching cages, bungee runs, a huge side-by-side giant slide, baseball bounce houses, and lots more interactive fun for baseball fans of all ages. 25 4th Annual Rocky Point Beach "Beach Blast" - Bring the family and stay all day to enjoy watermelon eating contests, kids fun zone, swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, hula hoop contest, sand castle building contest, volleyball tournament and great music. Our feature band "The Mighty Kicks" will perform from 7-9:30 and we will end the night with a fireworks finale.
