6 Annual Mighty Mite Triathlon - Spectators are invited to watch this exciting event as hundreds of athletes compete in this multi-sport race. The race begins at the Lake Dunn swim beach at Lake Village State Park in Wynne, when the swimmers hit the water at 8 a.m. and swim 1/3 mile to the launch area. From there they will bicycle out of the park 13 miles along the Crowley's Ridge Parkway. The race ends with a 3 mile run to Sam Smith Stadium in Forrest City.

30 - 31 Annual Forrest City Lion Club & Crowley's Ridge Saddle Club Rodeo - A professional rodeo cowboys association(PRCA) Rodeo. Proceeds go to the Forrest City Lion's Club Hearing and Sight Program and Crowley's Ridge Saddle Club Special Olympics Program. A miracle rodeo for mentally and physically challenged will also be held.
