Annual Hot Springs Music Festival
- The Hot Springs Music Festival brings together hundreds of international musicians each year to the city. During the festival around 200 international musicians will present 20 concerts and more than 250 free open rehearsals with at least one concert every day. A goal of the event is to make sure classical music is and remains relevant to people today by making the music easily accessible to a wide audience range. Central to the festival is a mentorship program, which pairs world-class musicians with pre-professional apprentices. The two groups play side by side throughout the festival. The festival takes place in a variety of venues around town including art galleries, hotel ballrooms and historic buildings. The schedule highlights a variety of musical options. Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival
- The annual Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, showcasing more than 100 documentaries from around the world, is one of the longest running documentary film festivals in the U.S. Throughout the festival industry professionals, filmmakers, and celebrity guests will participate in workshops, panels, and discussion forums at venues like Low Key Arts and Maxwell Blade’s Theater of Magic. **The historic Malco Theatre, which usually hosts the film celebration, was damaged in a storm the summer of 2012. While repairs are being made to the landmark building, the festival's center stage will be the Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa. Film screenings will take place on the hotel's second story.
