Annual Miami Boom Town Spree
- The festivities feature the Arizona State Mining Championships. The Boomtown Spree Parade kicks off the weekend on Friday. The fun continues until 9 pm with live entertainment, performances and a food. The weekend also features cultural dancing, arts and crafts, live musical entertainment, activities for kids, bed races, car shows, basketball tournaments, a street dance, antique mining equipment displays, and more. The best manual miners in the state compete in such events as hand drilling, team drilling, spike driving, and mucking! Annual Globe-Miami Old Time Reunion
- A three day reunion originally started in 1980 by some old Globe-Miami baseball players, it has been called by several names over the years - from Oldtime Globe-Miami Baseball Players Reunion to the Globe-Miami Oldtimers Reunion. It draws several hundred people home to the Globe-Miami community every year. And as many out of town people, mostly from California, attend the festivities as local people. The weekend is celebrated with a dinner and dance on Friday and Saturday evenings, and breakfast on Sunday morning.
