Annual Plein Art Festival and Auction
- The Colorado Governor's Art Show presents will host its annual Plein Art Festival and Auction on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participating artists will paint across town from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the auction is held from 5 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the downtown Loveland Foundry Plaza on East Third, across from the Metrolux Theater. This free festival showcases Colorado artists as they masterfully paint works of art open air and on location throughout Loveland, providing a unique opportunity to experience each piece as it is being created. Colorado All American Girl State Pageant
- We are a youth development program so we focus on giving back to the community and helping young girls grow into well rounded young women!The girls compete in 4 categories Interview, Introduction, Formal Wear, and Casual Wear! Interview is scored the highest out of all the categories, so the main focus is how well they can carry on a conversation! We are a natural Pageant looking for that All American Girl!! Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival
- Opening ceremonies at 5pm Friday. Watch as teams face-off in the corn shucking contest at 5:30pm. A street dance will be held with live music from 7 to 10 p.m. The beer garden and food vendors will be open throughout the evening. Roasted Colorado sweet corn will also be sold throughout the night. Saturday will start with a Pancake breakfast hosted by Loveland Kiwanis at 7:30 a.m. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. The beer garden opens at 11 a.m. Other events include: "Loveland's Got Talent" talent contest; live entertainment; corn eating contest; corn recipe contest; and much more.
