Alive! Expo
- Alive! Expo is Atlanta's first, largest and longest-running natural products and green living event truly dedicated to highlighting the best in natural health and wellness and educating the general public. Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival
- The annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival is BACK! Piedmont Park comes alive with fine art, live music, Mimosa 5k, international performances, high school art exhibition, disc dogs and more. Enjoy the VIP Experience, complete with food and beverage tastings and a perfect view of the Coca-Cola Main Stage. Kick back in the Corona Light Beer Garden or stop to the Kids Village presented by Visit Tallahassee. Due to financial constraints from the impact of COVID-19, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival is requesting a $5 donation at the gate. Those donating in advance will receive priority entrance into the festival. Friday VIP Experience: At Friday night’s Baja Fish Tacos & Argentine BBQ event, the fighting spirit of the restaurant industry is celebrated as guests enjoy endless Corona and Modelo beer paired with sustainable fish tacos and an Argentine-style BBQ. Tickets are $65 and include select cocktails featuring Buffalo Trace Bourbon and red and white wines from two of Spain’s most prestigious wine regions, Ribera del Duero and Rueda. Saturday Mimosa 5K: Following a course through the beautiful and historic Midtown neighborhood, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival Mimosa 5K welcomes runners and walkers to start festival Saturday off right. There will be a Mini-Mimosa 1K for participants 7 & under. The morning race ends with an OJ & Cupcake Vineyards bubbly toast in Piedmont Park, after which registered runners can stay and enjoy the festival. $40 Registration includes t-shirt and mimosa (participants age 21+). Mini-Mosa 1K: $20 per person pre-registration, for ages 7 & under, following the 5K Saturday VIP Experience: Beauty & the Beasts is an experience filled with locally raised beef and heritage pork alongside sustainable seafood dishes like ceviche and poke. Tickets are $75 and include the chance to vote on Buffalo Trace’s “Best of the Batched” bartender competition sporting a summer-time, cocktail-crushing theme. Guests will enjoy craft beers and wine pairings from two of Spain's most prestigious wine regions, Ribera del Duero and Rueda. A not-to-be-missed event. Sunday VIP Experience: This 2021 version of Peachfest is an epic peach event for foodies appreciating local farmers and chefs who support community-based agriculture. Tickets to this year's smaller adaptation of the successful event are $75 and include a menu of local plants and proteins paired with the state’s signature fruit: the Georgia peach. Guests will enjoy peaches and meats grilled over all-natural charcoal from Royal Oak, plant-based bites and sweet nibbles from a handful of the South’s notable tastemakers. Barkeeps will create hand-made, all-mighty peach cocktails featuring Buffalo Trace Bourbon, while wine professionals spotlight Spanish red and white wines of Ribera del Duero and Rueda. Corks and Forks at Grant Park Summer Shade Festival

Grant Park Summer Shade Festival
- It wouldn't be summer without the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival presented each year the 4th weekend of each August by the Grant Park Conservancy. With a juried and a non-juried Artist Market, two stages of live music, an amazing Sunday Farmers Market, plenty to eat and drink and special areas for kids, the Summer Shade Festival welcomes visitors to enjoy one of Atlanta's most beautiful public greenspaces. In the Kids Zone, you’ll find crafts, entertainment and interactive activities galore. Don’t miss this great weekend in beautiful, historic Grant Park. Summer Shade kicks off each year with the Adams Realtors 5K Run for the Park, allowing runners and walkers to enjoy the beautiful historic neighborhood on foot. Art in the Park
- This September, the annual Art in the Park returns to historic Marietta Square with loads of creative outdoor fun for the entire family as well as several new features this year like the Artcar Palooza and a 3-D Artist Exhibition. The Chalk Art Competition will also be back. Art in the Park takes place Labor Day weekend. This outdoor event boasts plenty of enjoyment for all ages with a large Artist Market, the Children’s Art Alley, famous Painted Pots, historic sites and nearby dining. The event will also feature a Chalk Art Competition. All ages are welcome to participate, as are professional level artists. Participants will have the opportunity to “Chalk it up!” with dynamic chalk art works in randomly selected sidewalk squares. These works will be judged at the end of the day and will remain on display throughout the festival. – interested participants can preregister (contact Emily Ryals, 770-528-1444x16, education@mariettacobbartmuseum.org). The competition is co-sponsored with the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, and everyone is welcome to compete. In the spacious Artist Market, attendees this year will be delighted by the range of artists new to the festival who offer a high level of fine art in media including jewelry made from fine metals and precious stones; ceramics; paintings in watercolor, acrylic, oil and pastel; woodworking; glass; photography; textiles and much more. Of course, everyone’s favorite artists from past years will be back too! In fact, the 175 artists showcasing one-of-a-kind works and commissions represent the best of the best at Cobb County’s only annual fine art show. The affordable original artwork is offered in a variety of price ranges and styles. Art in the Park is also excited to about the addition of a 3-D Artist Exhibition and an Art Supply Round-Up for local non-profits. Atlanta Fire Rescue Department Annual Car, Truck, and Bike Show
- Enter your motor vehicle to participate! In Support of Child Car Seat Safety, join us for the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department's FREE Community Car, Truck, and Bike Show on Saturday at Lee + White Ackerman & Co. and MDH Partners' parking lot, adjacent to Wild Heaven West End, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. A City of Atlanta sponsored event for our members in the Field Operations Division, AFRD civilian staff members, AFRD retirees, and open to our motor vehicle enthusiasts in all our communities. This is a family-friendly event. We will have a kid's zone area providing FREE Community Child Safety Seat Checkups and Demonstrations, tours of our fire engines, fire hats, coloring books, face painting, public library services card sign-up, stem activations, art activities, BOOKS, and Atlanta Hawks SWAG! This event is also a time to give back, fellowship, and engage with our ATL Community We Love. Smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, batteries, and face masks will also be available for those who need these items. FREE to attend. All years, makes, and models can enter. Motor Vehicle Check-In Start @ 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM. Show begins at 10:00 AM. Parking will be available on the street and in area parking lots.
