New Albin Days: Past and Present
- Three days of fun for everyone in the family, with games for the kids, a volleyball tourney, horseshoes, fishing derby on the Mississippi backwaters, a parade, lots of delicious food and music and dancing under the stars - and fireworks! One button gets you entrance into nearly all the events for just three dollars; the fishing derby will cost extra. Raffle tickets can be obtained for a donation of a dollar a ticket or 6 tickets for five dollars; the prizes are cold hard cash!New Albin Days is hoping to raise enough money at this event to restore our Old Town Hall and Fire Station so that they can become permanent museums for visitors and future generations of New Albin residents. New Albin Days Sales on the Green
- As part of New Albin Days - Past and Present, there will be Sales on the Green starting at about 9:00 a.m. This is not a flea market with professional vendors, this is just your friends and neighbors and their junk, er, we mean, their TREASURES, available for your shopping pleasure!Want to come sell? Reserve a spot by emailing, then bring your blanket or tables and set up on the town green. There is no initial fee to sell; you just need your New Albin Days button to get in, and you pledge 10% of your sales to the New Albin Days fund to help renovate the Old Town Hall and Fire Station to build a museum. New Albin Days Annual Fishing Tournament
- In conjunction with New Albin Days - Past and Present, we are happy to announce the First Annual New Albin Days Fishing Tournament. Join us on lovely Pools 8 and 9 for a day of fishing, then come to town for weigh-in at 3:00 p.m. Relax afterward and enjoy good food and music on the town square.
