8 - 9 Illinois Classic Antique Bicycle Show - The Illinois State Classic Champion Bicycle will be awarded at the Annual Antique-Classic Bicycle Show and Swap Meet. This year's event will be held in Pana's Historic Kitchell Park in the Chautauqua Pavilion on Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m. with awards at approximately 3:00 p.m. With early entries already in, the show is expected to fill the 11,000 sq. ft. auditorium. Entries in all classes can be made in all classes until 11:00 a.m. the day of the event.

The Illinois State Classic Champion Bike will receive the "2007 State Champion Trophy" and $150.00 as well as entry fee into the 2008 Ann Arbor, Michigan National Swap Meet. The Runner-up State Champion will receive $100.00. The National status of the Pana Show is expected to draw some of the finest classic bicycles in the Country.

The event is held in conjunction with the Pana Midstate Classic Car Show. The event is coordinated by the Pana Chamber of Commerce and is promoted as a "Free â€" Family Event" as admission is free for both events. Large crowds are expected with both Car and Bicycle enthusiasts attending. All are invited to "bring their lawn chairs" and enjoy the shade and the events of the day. 8 Pana Midstatae Classic Car Show - PANA MIDSTATE CLASSIC CAR SHOW

The Annual Pana Midstate Classic Car Show will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2007 in Pana's Historic Kitchell Park. The event is one of the oldest auto shows in the area dating back in the 1950's as well as one of the largest. Entries are expected from the four state area as the "shady" setting of Kitchell Park has been popular for vehicle owners as well as attendees. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. until Noon with judging beginning at 1:30 p.m. Trophies will be awarded in 27 classes with 3 awards per class. Dash plaques will be available to the first 150 entries.
Classes include 6 Stock Classes from 1900 to 1954, 1955 to 1964, 1965 to 1969, 1970 to 1980, 1981 to 1990, 1991 to 2005. Street Machine classes will include three divisions 1949 to 1965, 1966 to 1970, and 1971 to 2005. Two Classes of Expression/Artistic will include cars and trucks. Corvette Classes will be Stock and Modified. Camaros and Mustangs modified will each have a Class. Two Street Rod Classes will be 1921 to 1933 and 1934 to 1948. Customs/lead sleds, Pro Street, and special interest will each have a class. Six truck classes will include 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel drive stock and modified as well as Mini stock trucks. A special class will include motorcycles. Specialty Awards will include the Best GM, Ford, Mopar, Mayors Choice and Chamber Choice.
