Paul Barding's "In the Steps of Darwin"
- Join us for this incredible presentation on the birds and wildlife of the Galapagos Islands! Paul Barding, a biologist and zoologist, began birding and documenting the Galapagos Islands, where Charles Darwin studied, in 2000. This presentation will showcase photographic documentation and a presentation of the wildlife that Barding encountered on his voyages in Darwin's footsteps. - Students will learn how we cleaned up after the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill, and observe how these clean-up techniques work in the natural environment. Festival of Trees
- The Museum is a wonderful place to visit with family and friends in December. Check out everything we have going on! • Tree Contest: The museum will be decorated for Christmas, featuring over 20 trees decorated by local groups and businesses. Vote for your favorite tree by making a donation. Trees will be on display through Christmas.
