Music On The Lawn - The outdoor summer concert is a cherished piece of Americana - and it's going strong at the Deere-Wiman House! Custom-made for local children, our Music on the Lawn Series offers a unique opportunity to picnic and enjoy live music in a family-friendly environment.

Day-time concerts held in June and July are open to children and staff at Quad City daycare centers and homecare operations, and are available by reservation only to ensure adequate accommodations. An evening Family Concert in July is open to the public. There is no charge for admission; those who attend should bring blankets or lawn chairs, and picnic suppers are allowed.

The concerts are held on the lawn, nestled between the gardens and the historic Deere-Wiman House.

9 Blossoms At Butterworth - Take a step back in time at Blossoms at Butterworth! When you enter our gardens, you'll be transported to a genteel era of the past, where gracious plantings painted a rich backdrop for families spending leisure time together outdoors.

Held each year on the fourth Sunday in June, our one-of-a-kind garden party features vintage delights and family-oriented activities: antique cars, lawn games of the 1800s, live music, guided bus tour through the Overlook Historic Neighborhood, tours of the Butterworth and Deere-Wiman homes and more. Held from noon until 5 p.m., Blossoms is a summertime classic in the Quad Cities!

7 Annual Theresa Gibbs Memorial Ride - Annual Theresa Gibbs Memorial Ride WITH 100% of the proceeds being donated to the First Day Fund, which provides school supplies to under-privileged children. Ride registration from 10am to noon, last riders in by 5 pm. All vehicles welcome. Ride begins and ends at Len Brown's North Shore Inn, Moline, Illinois on Sunday. Rain date is scheduled for the next Sunday. There will be 5050 drawings, live music beginning at 2 pm, and sloppy joes beginning at 2 pm until they're gone. Join us for a great time in memory of a beautiful lady and help provide school supplies to children in need!

Join us for a jolly time at Deere-Wiman House and Butterworth Center, where you'll find:

1. Beautiful decorations throughout both homes
2. Living-history volunteers at Deere-Wiman House
3. Performance by the Moline Boys Choir at Butterworth Center
4. Children's crafts and an art show (sponsored by Left Bank Art League) in the Deere-Wiman Carriage House
