Alumni Banquet
- The Florence High School Alumni Association, the oldest continuing alumni association in the state of Kansas, holds their annual Florence Alumni Banquet on Saturday evening of the Memorial Day weekend, every year since 1896. Florence Labor Day Celebration
- 2 DAYS - Yard sales, softball tournaments, carnival, street dance, "cowboy polo", flea market, art and crafts, horseshoes, food, and fun! Labor Day in Florence is traditional, being celebrated for over 70 years with the highlight being the parade which has always started at 11:00 a.m. on Monday morning. But the activities and entertainment start on the previous Saturday, and are scattered throughout the entire weekend. The weekend will end with a live concert. Antique and Arts Fair
- Florence's Antique and Arts Fair, held the 3rd Saturday in September. The Florence PRIDE uses the opportunity of thousands of vehicles passing by to attract visitors to our city for this fair. Now there are three reasons to come to Marion County in September, with Hillsboro's Arts and Crafts Fair, and Marion's Art in the Park. We are all just ten miles from each other on newly paved highways. This is a Free Fair for shoppers with free parking close to downtown and no admission. There will be plenty of local food vendors.
