4 - 8 Annual Wheat Festival - Thousands of people travel to Wellington during our 5 day event. One of our biggest events is the Arts and Crafts show. Both commercial and traditional craft show vendors are welcome. This craft show is held in a park, and combined with a full day of activities. Car show, antique tractor show, kids bouncies, train rides, face painting, dog show, softball and baseball tournaments, BBQ cookoff and the list goes on and on... Come join the fun!

27 Slate Creek Relay - The running of the Slate Creek Relay, although sponsored by the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce, involves over 150 volunteers, and the close coordination of various Wellington City, Sumner County, Wellington Township and many other significant contributors.

Held the last Saturday in July every year!

A team consists of 15 men/women. Participants must be 16 years of age by race day. Combined age of all team participants must average 26 years of age or older.
