Mine Creek Battlefield - Heritage Day
- Join us for Heritage Day, a special event at Mine Creek Civil War Battlefield State Historic Site near Pleasanton. This annual event features cavalry, artillery, and infantry Civil War period demonstrations. Plus blacksmith, Dutch oven cooking, weaving, broom making, leather works, basket making, and spinning wool. The event we will also include a weapons display and medical tent. Cookees Drive-In General Pleasonton Days Car Show
- Cookees Drive-In will again be sponsoring the General Pleasonton Days Car Show! We will have streets blocked off around 102 E. 12th St. in Pleasanton, KS. 2-6pm.We will offer free dash plaques and goody bags to the first 50 entrants into the car show. We will offer trophies for Top 20, Best in Class for car/truck/bike/rat rod, Youth, and Furthest Distance! We will also have a huge variety of items we will be giving away, like we do every year!
