13 Yellow Brick Run - 1/2 Marathan & Bicycle Event - 13.1 Mile (Half-Marathon) Running & 40 Mile Bicycle Event. Individual, Two-Man, and Four-Man Teams. 9 AM Start.

A Public Hamburger Lunch will be held from 12 noon to 2 pm at the State Bank of Downs Parking Lot. $5.00 Meal; Participants eat for Free.

19 - 20 Kansas Storytelling Festival - A weekend to celebrate stories and the art of storytelling - from the fables that we learned as children to the retelling of poignant moments in history as well as tall tales humor and lots of music.
