Czech & Slovak Festival
- Enjoy what’s happening at one of Michigan's largest Czech & Slovak festival at Sokol Cultural Center. Our "Folk Festival" is an affordable fun-filled event for families of all ages. Music and dancing abounds with live entertainment all day. Savor our ethnic foods served throughout the day by our award-winning chef. We guarantee you won't be going home hungry! Eat your fill of Kolaches- our famous Czech dessert, featured on a local Detroit TV station. Enjoy refreshing imported beers in our air-conditioned hall or sit in our Outdoor Bistro Pavilion for a sing-a-long. Annual Czech & Slovak Dinner Party
- Sokol Detroit presents their annual Czech/Slovak Dinner party on Sunday from noon to 7 pm.. Admission includes Dinner, Wine, Beer and Pop. Enjoy this festive holiday celebration with family and friends; with a sing along and program at 2pm. and dancing to the festive tunes of the Joe Tomes Band. Drinks and snacks will be sold throughout the event.
