When Pigs Fly Indoor BBQ Bash
- World's Largest Indoor BBQ Competition! Enter your BBQ team online by visiting the website. We don’t care if you are a professional BBQ competition team or just a group of friends that cook darn good barbecue. Apply and Spread the Word! There will be entertainment during the day. Between sets we will have cooking classes and demonstrations going on the stage. Lounge back in our Backyard Biergarten or start your own competition with some backyard games. Bring the whole family and have some fun! Friday - VIP Night - Happy Hour starts at 5:30pm with dinner beginning at 6:30pm. Join us for an elegant backyard BBQ Pre-Party. You will be served a brisket dinner with sides and dessert. Mingle with the teams that will be competing on Saturday. There will be a special cooking demonstration done during the night. Southeast Missouri District Fair
- Don't miss the 151st edition of this longest running family event in the Heartland. The fair plays host to 100,000 people annually. From the midway operated by the Lowery Family Carnival to the music found all over the fairgrounds there is something for everyone. This year's Kids Zone features free face painting, free farm fun station, free arts activities, and so much more. There will be two nights of Outlaw Tractor and Truck Pulling on both Saturday and Monday. More free stuff around the fairgrounds include Marcos the Magnificent strolling magician, Tropical Illusion Family Theatre, Woody's Menagerie Wildlife Educational Exhibit, Musical entertainment at the activities tent, livestock, horticulture, floriculture, homemaking, crafts, and commercial exhibits in the Arena Building, 4-H exhibit building, fireworks, etc. Tickets for all events, gate admissions, and season passes will be available beginning July 19th at the fairgrounds ticket office.
