5 Concours d'Elegance Auto Show - The Kemp Auto Museum Concours d'Elegance is the only invitational display of world class automobiles in St. Louis that is free and open to the public. Amid the wine, food, and handsome views, visitors can immerse in the exhibition of rare vintage and new automobiles, some of the finest and historic cars in existence. Many of the cars on display have won awards at the prestigious Concours d'Elegance events held at Pebble Beach, Amelia Island and Meadow Brook.

5 Kemp Auto Museum Concours d'Elegance - Every spring, nearly 70 of the world’s most rare and treasured American and European automobiles come together at the Kemp Auto Museum for the Concours d'Elegance. These cars represent the best of their era and are chosen on the basis of craftsmanship, design and performance. Many of the cars have won awards at the prestigious Concours d'Elegance events held throughout the country, particularly Pebble Beach, California; Amelia Island, Florida; and Meadow Brook Hall, Michigan. This outdoor event is free and open to the public and will have refreshments available for purchase. Proceeds to benefit Ranken Jordan Pediatric Hospital.

26 Annual Big Truck Day - Looking for close encounters of the four-wheeled kind? Join Kemp Auto Museum for our Annual Big Truck Day. All are welcome to this free, family friendly event where kids and truck lovers of all ages can have their faces painted, hear live music and climb aboard the area's largest and loudest BIG TRUCKS! Normally only seen from a distance, kids will have an opportunity to explore the inner workings of trucks from MoDOT, firetrucks, tractors, monster trucks and much more. Please bring a nonperishable food item to support a great cause, Operation Food Search! The first 100 kids receive a free snow cone! Y98 will also have prizes. This outdoor event is FREE and open to the public and will have refreshments and BBQ available for purchase.

14 - 25 "Precocious Metals" at the Kemp Auto Museum - Please join us as we unveil Michael Rubin’s photographic rendition of vintage luxury marques. His unique perspective showcases the subtle nuances of these exquisite automobiles that even the most experienced automotive connoisseur might miss. The reception on July 27th will also feature complimentary guided tours by our on-staff docent along with light hors d'oeuvres, and wine available for purchase. Museum admission on the day of the reception will be reduced to $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Please email your RSVP to events@kempautomuseum.org. The exhibit will include 25 pieces and will continue to be displayed through September 7th at no additional cost to Museum guests.

7 - 8MO1005009e019 - Chesterfield Folk and Fine Arts Festival - The juried artists are back in the fall and take over the area in and around The St Louis Carousel offering fine art in oil and acrylics, water color, metal works, pottery, wood, jewelry and more.  The Historic Village then reverts to the 19th century with period dressed staff and traditional arts and crafts such as blacksmithing, rope making, pottery firing and other historical arts and crafts demonstrated and shared. Both areas offer food vendors and hands on activities for children, including pony rides, rope making and garden projects. Hay wagons carry visitors around the parking lots to both entrances. Admission includes unlimited rides on The St. Louis Carousel.

28 Jaguar concours d'Elegance - Please Join the Jaguar Association of Greater St. Louis for its Annual Concours d’ Elegance. Jaguars have long captivated the motoring public with its curvaceous frame, impressive mechanics and fierce competitive edge. The show, though narrowed to the Jaguar marque, always boasts stylistically diverse cars. Prewar examples will be great in number and joined invariably by sports racing cars, a series of luxury saloons and a contemporary crop of coupes, convertibles and E-types. This event, held on the plaza of the Kemp Auto Museum will run from 10am to 3pm and is free to the public. Sixty vehicles are expected to display.

6 Classic Car Show - The Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) is hosting the Annual “Classic Car Show” on Sunday at the Kemp Auto Museum. This is the first-ever Car Show for the CCCA and is a non-competitive gathering and viewing of cars such as Cadillacs, Duesenbergs, Jaguars, Mercedes-Benz, Packards, Pierce Arrows and Rolls Royce. These cars have received a lot of attention and accolades at local, regional and national shows and are considered the best and rarest of their class. The show, which is free and open to all, will provide the general public with a unique and rare opportunity to see automobiles owned by private collectors and manufactured between 1925 -1948. It begins at 10:00 A.M. and concludes at 3:00 P.M. on the tree-lined courtyard on the Museum’s Sachs Plaza.

11 - 13 History Hayrides - The park will spring to life after dark with candle-lit lanterns illuminating the Thornhill estate and Historic Village. Hay wagons will take guests down the long path to Governor Bates' historic home, where guests can disembark and tour the house and barns. Then the wagons will take guests to the Historic Village. They can walk through the candlelit homes at their own pace or head right for the bonfire and refreshments. Great family fun! Food and refreshments available for purchase. Reservations recommended.
