26 Annual 'Strut Yer Mutt' Dog Show - Does your dog have a special talent? Planned competitions, obedience training, pooch pampering, prizes, raffles and much more! Competition categories include best kisser, best dressed, most unusual trick, best swimmer and more. Proceeds will benefit the Rutherford County Animal Protection Alliance. Don't have a pet? The RCHS will have several dogs available for adoption.

24 - 26 Kiwanis Memorial Days Festival - Back again for three days of lively entertainment, a wide range of arts and crafts, and a variety of tasty foods. There's something for everyone!
Artists and crafters from throughout the region will offer handmade wares such as quilts, sketches, pottery, watercolors, oil paintings, photography, jewelry, needle crafts, wood crafts, leather crafts and all sorts of artistic decorative items. DJ, Renny High, will offer a wide range of music all three days. Several food vendors will offer hot and cold drinks and tasty treats.
