Celebrity Dairy Open Barn
- Several times each year we open the farm for visitor weekends. Simple comfort food (Soups, JohnnyCake, Brownies, hot drinks, etc.) for the hungry will be on sale in the Inn, and some of the first goat cheese of the new year! Why? its all about the baby goats. We expect births starting as early as January 15th, and continuing on through the Spring. We had 140 "kids" born last Spring, and are expecting as many as 160 kids. Lawn & Garden Show
- The Siler City Merchants Association will be hosting a Lawn & Garden Show from 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. We will be celebrating the Siler City Farmers Market, demonstrations, pottery, books, ironworks, trucks, herbs, garden plants, antique tractors, arts, etc. We will be having a raffle with a vareity of prizes 50% of the proceeds will be going to the Relay for Life! Silk Hope Ruritan Truck and Tractor Pull
- STPA-sanctioned Spring National Truck and Tractor Pull. Gates open at 5pm each day with concessions available. The pull starts: 7:30pm, Friday; 7pm, Saturday. Each night will have classes of Heavy Super Stock Tractors, Four-Wheel Drive Trucks, Two-Wheel Drive Trucks, Modified Tractors, and Super Farm Tractors. Sponsored and hosted by the Silk Hope Ruritans. From Raleigh: US 64 west 13 mi past Pittsboro; see signs for G.T.
