2nd Annual Uwharrie Mountain Festival
- Come celebrate the heritage of the ancient Uwharrie Mountains with outdoor recreation opportunities, arts & crafts, food and storytelling. Making its debut this year is the Uwharrie Century, a 100-mile bike race that will weave through scenic backroads. There?s orienteering, geocaching, gold panning, disc golf, archaeology, paddle games, horseback riding and more. Bring a picnic and select a scenic picnic spot or sample the fare of the food vendors.
