26NJ0505023e001 - Washington Rock & Roll Steampunk Fair - The annual Rock & Roll Steampunk Fair is coming to Washington Borough, NJ! This is a free to attend event, no tickets are required to come enjoy a full day of live music, artisan vendors, street performers, costumes and general steampunk shenanigans. Musical lineup includes This Way to the Egress, Dust Bowl Faeries, Durty Rotten Parrots, Puppy Grease, and an afterparty with A Halo Called Fred! There will also be an array of street performers and entertainers including Professional Monstrosity Sideshow, Phonofiddler Keith Engle, The Museum of Interesting Things, Cheryl Schruefer Stilt Walker, NJ Belly Dancers, angle grinder performance with Holly Ween, complimentary steampunk photobooth and other activities and specials throughout the downtown. The streets will be lined with unique artisan vendors and there are plenty of local shops to explore. You are not going to want to miss out on this unique event!

14 Sustainably Green Music & Arts Festival - The Sustainably Green Music & Arts Festival returns to Downtown Washington Borough, NJ, from 10am-5pm! Featuring the music of Alexis P. Suter, Alex Radus and Rick Houston! A Full day of music, ecofriendly exhibitioners, artisan vendors, kids' activities, shopping, dining & more! Also including other green initiatives such as electronics recycling, clothing drive, solar merry-go-round, paper shredding and electric vehicle display and information. 22NJ0505023e011 - Washington Small Business Saturday Shopping Passport Event - As we start getting into the holiday season, we wanted to officially announce a Shop Small initiative for Small Business Saturday. Several of our local businesses have graciously donated gift certificates, goodies, services and more to put into a GIANT prize basket worth over $500 that you can win!

The businesses who donated to the prize basket are your participating businesses for the Small Business Saturday Shopping Passport! You can pick up a shopping passport at any of the participating businesses on Saturday, November 26th. Make a purchase at any of the locations listed on the card on Small Business Saturday and get a Washington BID sticker. There is no minimum purchase price. Collect a sticker from three locations to complete the passport, one sticker awarded per location. Once a card is completed fill out your contact information on the back of the passport card and submit it to any of the participating businesses. That's it! You are now entered to win! Once you complete one card you can start over visit three NEW businesses to have another chance to win. Shop at three unique stores get one entry, shop at six unique stores get two entries, and so on. The more you shop the better your chances!

Why shop small? Our town is comprised mostly of small businesses and shopping small keeps more of that money in our local economy. It not only helps our community, but it helps business owners thrive in our town. Remember when you shop small you are supporting your neighbors, families, and their dreams. A family fun filled evening with the annual Borough tree lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving on the fire truck, music by DJ Rupe, free horse and carriage rides (weather permitting), vendors, selfies with Santa and every child receives a small gift. Free Victorian photo booth, strolling brass band, The Warren County Singers and other seasonal characters. Free kids crafts with Dove Environmental Education. Add your own unique ornament to the town tree with our new community ornament making activity! Open house/shopping in our stores and restaurants. Free parking, rain or shine. FREE EVENT!

6NJ0505023e013 - Washington Operation Toy Train - The Toy Train will be making a stop in Washington Borough again on Saturday, at 1pm. The train will stop on the tracks on Broad Street by the Borough Park/Pool where you can bring any NEW and UNWRAPPED toys to donate for Toys for Tots. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on board to help the Marines load up the train car. If you can't make it on Saturday, bring your toy donations to Hometown Holiday on Friday. Free parking, rain or shine.

Since 2009, Operation Toy Train has operated a special train in northern New Jersey. The train collects over 20,000 donated toys annually for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation, which redistributes them to underprivileged children in the same region
