Schaghticoke Fair
- The fair celebrates 205 seasons of family fun with thrilling midway rides, live music, the Royal Hanneford Circus, Central K9 Performance Dogs, educational and interactive Stingray Exhibit, livestock shows, truck & tractor pulls, Buffalo Barfield Music Show, contests, exhibits, vendors, a beer garden and tasty carnival eats.Musical highlights: * The Ultimates (7pm, 8:30pm Wednesday & Thursday) * Donny Elvis (1pm, 3pm Thursday) * Larger Than Life boy band experience (8pm Friday) * Mike & The Monsters (1pm, 2:30pm Saturday) * Triffid 2.0: Reviving Upstate's '80s Legend (7pm, 8pm Sunday) * Tame The Rooster (5:30pm, 7:30pm Monday) Fair admission: $15 ($13 online in advance); $55 season pass; free for kids 13 & younger. Parking is free. Special Days: * Wednesday - $2 admission & $2 rides (minimum 10-ride purchase) * Thursday - Admission is $5 for ages 62+ and free for active duty military & veterans with Military ID. Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36" & taller) are $30 Wednesday - Friday and $35 Saturday - Monday. Visit the website for advance savings on wristbands and ride tickets before 5pm Aug. 25. Paid grandstand events are Flo Rida (8pm Saturday), NYTPA Tractor Pulls (noon, 6:30pm Sunday) and Demolition Derby (1pm, 6pm Monday). See the website for tickets. Fair hours are 10am-10pm.
