Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor- Ohio Historical Society
- This modern museum building contains exhibits which chronicle the rise and fall of the iron and steel industries in Ohio's Mahoning Valley. The area once was second only to Pittsburgh in the production of steel. Museum artifacts and audiovisual productions depict steel making, the life of steelworkers and the history of labor movement in Ohio. Visitors will find several large, original objects displayed in dioramas. An archival library on the museum's second floor contains related records on the steel industry as well as genealogical materials. Address: Ohio Historical Society |
