Cambridge Rhythm & Arts Walk - May through November. - Enjoy a variety of live music, demonstrating artists, creative hands-on opportunities, food, shopping, social atmosphere and whimsical chairs at the Cambridge Rhythm & Arts Walk, 5 to 8 p.m. in Cambridge's downtown historic district every first Friday May through November. People of all ages are invited to stroll historic Wheeling Avenue (Old National Road/Route 40) to enjoy a lively social atmosphere. Participating merchants are open late for the occasion, providing eclectic shopping, coffee,"drinks and spirits, desserts, and meals. Artists set up along the sidewalk demonstrate their craft, as acoustic entertainment of a wide variety fills the air with a delightful soundscape. Whimsically painted chairs mark the entrances to participating merchants! Many offer free refreshments and specials. The Cambridge Rhythm& Arts Walk is held rain or shine.

Living Word Outdoor Drama - For over 33 years the Living Word Outdoor Drama in Cambridge has been presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ on a 400-foot, panoramic set considered America's most authentic reproduction of Old Jerusalem! Witness the Sermon On The Mount; Palm Sunday; Last Supper; the Arrest and Trial; Crucifixion; Resurrection; Ascension and numerous other miracles. Roman soldiers on horseback; temperamental donkey named Stormy; brilliant sound, lighting, authentic costumes and special effects all add to the excitement. Set tour and special singing artist prior to the drama worth the price of admission at no extra charge.

The Living Word Outdoor Drama is presented each Friday and Saturday evening from mid June through September.

17 National Cambridge Collectors' All Cambridge Glass Auction - Each year the National Cambridge Collectors, Inc. sponsors the "All Cambridge Glass Auction." This auction features over 375 lots of Cambridge glassware with proceeds going to benefit the club museum fund. Rare and unusual examples of this highly collectible glass are often seen at this auction. All glassware is guaranteed to have been handmade by The Cambridge Glass Company of Cambridge, Ohio, in the early to mid 1900s. First Saturday in March.

7 - 8 National Cambridge Collectors' Glass Show & Sale - The annual Glass Show & Sale will be held at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center just west of Cambridge. This show features Cambridge Glass, as well as other fine glassware including Heisey, Imperial, Fenton, Duncan, and Tiffin. Twenty-five dealers from across the United States will be set up in the exhibit hall. National Cambridge Collectors also offers a book sales table where books about Cambridge Glass can be purchased.

28 - 12 Petrified Forest - Be prepared to walk/hike on a dimly lit trail in the woods. Wear appropriate shoe, flip

12 Fall Festival & Trail of Treats - The annual Fall Festival (noon - 5pm) focuses on outdoor activities, games and crafts. 17 - 16 Dickens Victorian Village - From November through mid January each year, visitors are invited to stroll amidst 40 vignettes of 106 lifelike figures representing classic scenes from Victorian society. This innovative public art exhibition is enjoyed by families, couples, and groups alike -- an experience that engages the senses as you explore the charming streetscape, striking historic architecture, and eclectic shops and eateries of Cambridge. The Dickens scenes are stationed along Wheeling Avenue at each antique lamppost and bench between 6th and 11th Streets. Wheeling Avenue is also the historic National Road/Route 40, and features an outstanding streetscape of original buildings from the 1800s. A self-guided walking tour brochure is available at downtown shops and area hotels for your convenience. Packages are available including exceptional entertainment, meals and lodging.

As a special invitation, this one day a year, the Taylor Mansion, built in 1878, is open to the public the first Sunday in December from 1-4 PM. Come celebrate Christmas at the Colonel Taylor Inn B&B for our annual Victorian Christmas Open House Tea & Tour.

Our tour guides dressed in Victorian costume will tell you the history of the historic Taylor Mansion while touring you through the Inn's three floors with almost 9,000 sq ft of living space. Our pianist & carolers will be singing their favorite Christmas tunes live, as the fire crackles, guests settle into the comfortable sofas and armchairs to enjoy heaping trays of cookies, tea sandwiches, fruit, cheeses, nuts, homemade fudge and other fresh baked pastries along with tea, coffee & punch.
We will even leave a plate out for Santa as he will be there with our photographer for photos!
