5 - 8 Major County Fair - The Major County Free Fair takes place in September, at the Major County Fairgrounds in Fairview, OK. Events at the fair include an open horse expo, poultry show, rabbit show, youth and open livestock shows for cattle, swine, sheep and goats, and 4-H, FFA, OHCE and open class building exhibits. Other fair activities include crop and horticulture exhibits, OHCE and 4-H concession stands and a free meal.

20 - 21 Old Time Threshing Bee & Nat. 2 Cylinder Tractor Show - Vintage steam machines, tractors, and farm equipment on display and in demonstrations; included with craft shows, museum display, re-enacters and car show.
