18 - 19 Arts on the Ridge - The Town of Ridgeway, South Carolina sponsors its annual Arts on the Ridge event, which features the art of local community members. There are free artist demonstrations, an author roundtable and live music performances. Businesses open their doors and put art on display during an art walk. Community members share memories of Ridgeway through oral storytelling. The schools also are involved with Fairfield and Richland county students participating in an art exhibit and show. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

17 - 18 Pig on the Ridge BBQ Cook-Off and Festival - Make plans to attend this family friendly event located in the heart of South Carolina, Historic Ridgeway where the South's Great BBQ Chefs Stake Their Claims! The largest cook-off in South Carolina six out of the last seven years, Pig on the Ridge is a BBQ lovers paradise. Festival includes childrens activities, craft sales, hog calling contest, and car show. Friday night "No Pigs Allowed" -
