14 - 16 Annual White Lightning Trail Festival - From the Civil War to modern day America, The White Lightning Trail Festival will tell the story of those rugged, self-reliant people that made this area the topic of movies and gave birth to one of America's fastest growing sports – stock car racing. The White Lightning Trail, which begins in Knoxville, TN, travels through eight other counties including Anderson, Union, Campbell, Claiborne, Grainger, Jefferson, Knox, Hamblen and Cocke. These communities share a rich heritage that will be on display in the form of demonstrations, food, antique cars, craft vendors, games, bike run and a variety of music.

15 - 17 Pumpkin Lights - Come and enjoy the array of decorated pumpkins glowing in Festival Park.

Anyone wanting to enter their best carved pumpkin, please bring it to Festival Park between 5 and 6 pm on October 29th.

The Fire Station will host a Halloween party on October 31st featuring hotdogs and treat bags as well as community fellowship. Be there between the hours of 5 and 9 pm

23 Victorian Christmas - Father and Mother Christmas is coming to town. They will make a stop at the Victorian home located at 511 Colwyn Avenue betweeen the hours of 10 am - 3 pm. Children and adults can enjoy the reading of the Christmas Story, the Legend of Santa, and hot cider and cookies
