Annual Relay for Life Cookoff
- BBQ & Chili Cook-off. Cancer Society. Camping - Full hook-ups and Cabins. Brisket, Chicken, Ribs, Pork, Chili, Beans, Salsa, Desert, Dutch Oven dishes, Bloody Mary's, and Margarita. Alvarado Elementary North's faculty and staff members will participate in their Johnson County Relay for Life cancer walk in Cleburne, Texas. As a means to raise money for the American Cancer Society, AEN will host their annual, Tolbert sanctioned, BBQ & Chili Cook-off in Glen Rose at Tres Rios River Ranch. Full hook-up RV camp sites and cabins are available for Friday and Saturday night. All proceeds from this event will go to the American Cancer Society. - The Gift & Boutique Dump Show is coming to Glen Rose Texas in October and you are invited to attend the shopping expo. The Gift & Boutique dump show is an expo were Gift Shops and Boutiques from all over Texas are coming to sell their clearance items at a huge discounts to "Dump" the unwanted inventory. Most of the stores are marking their items 50% off. The 3 day show starts Friday Oct 12 thru Sunday Oct 14 the public can buy a day pass at the door for $10 and start their Christmas Shopping early, enjoy the music and entertainment, and a little pampering too.
