Texas Independence Day Celebration
- Commemorates the anniversary of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence. Includes costumed re-enactors, period craft demonstrations, Texas music, black gunpowder salutes and more. "Let the Convention Go On..." is a special exhibit featuring original handwritten documents of Texas history such as the Texas Declaration of Independence, successive draft copies of the Constitution of the Republic of Texas, journals of the Convention of 1836, and William Fairfax Gray's diary describing the proceedings of the Convention.
