Soldiers Atop the Mount - 1776-1777
- Re-enactors demonstrate military tactics, artillery, camp life, colonial crafts, cooking, and clothing. Guided camp tours, trail tours, drilling lessons, and children's activities, games, and history hunt. On Saturday afternoon enjoy a musical performance by VT folksong balladeer Deb Flanders and the annual dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence. Company of Select Marksmen, The British & German Withdrawal
- This living history unit will commemorate the November 1777 evacuation of Mount Independence by the British Army & their German allies.
