Fireworks in Vergennes
- The Eagles and American Legion Post No. 14, together will light up the skies in celebration of Independence Day. The fireworks are set up in the ball fields of VUHS and can be viewed from most anywhere around. 8PM (around dusk). Don't forget your chairs, blankets and bug spray! Please park in the high school parking lot and be respectful to property and pedestrian traffic. Addison County Fair & Field Days
- Vermont's largest agricultural fair features livestock events, motorsports, thrilling midway rides, circus shows, racing pigs, live music on two stages, magic shows, Children's Barnyard activities, a maple sugar house, milking parlor, exhibits, 4-H workshops, demonstrations, contests and plenty of tasty carnival eats.Daily highlights: * Tuesday - Gymkhana (5pm), Dan Lapointe - Glorybound Country Gospel (7pm) * Wednesday - Ox Pulling (9:30am), Demolition Derby (7pm), Third Shift Band (7:30pm) * Thursday - ACFFD Open Horse Show (8am), Pony Pulling (10:30am), Rehab Roadhouse (8pm) * Friday - Draft Horse Show (9:30am), Truck & Tractor Pulls (6pm, 7pm), Blues and Beyond Band (7pm) * Saturday - Open Dairy Show (9am), Rust and Ruin (7pm), Fireworks (9:15pm) Fair admission: $15; $5 for ages 6-11; free for kids 5 & younger. Annual Vergennes Day
- This year we expect sell out vendor opportunities and an exciting event that will bring families from all over Addison County and beyond. The event offers something for all ages - fire department pancake breakfast, Little City 5K, 10K & 15K Road Races & Fun Run, crafters, vendors, bandstand music, children's activities, horse and wagon rides, Lions Club's famous chicken BBQ, Bixby Library's events - all taking place around the Little City. 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Don't miss the Street Dance the night before from 7 to 10 pm. VENDORS WANTED RESERVE A BOOTH SPACE HERE All applications must be completed online. Save $10, register before mid July All booth spaces in the park measure 10' x 10'.
