Cars of Yesteryear, Inc. is a non-profit which promotes the appreciation and restoration of antique motor vehicles, rods, classics and other motor vehicles of special interest. The show is held Rain or Shine - Vehicle Registration: 8AM to 12PM (Noon) $15.00 Per Vehicle (Includes Driver & 1 Passenger - US Funds Only); Spectator Gates Open To Public At 10AM, Donation: $3.00 Adult - Under 12 years old are Free

The show will be held at North Country Union High School located at 209 Veterans Avenue in Newport, Vermont on August 7, 2022. ** All proceeds support our club's annual awards to students: two mechanic's tool boxes with tools (1 Junior and 1 Senior who have excelled in the local career center's Transportation Science Technology Program) and two $500 scholarships to local students who are advancing their studies in an automotive related field. * Scholarships Awarded at 2:45PM & Trophies Awarded At 3PM

EVENT RULES
* All vehicles must be driven onto the field.
* No "For Sale" signs on show vehicles.
* Fire extinguishers are advised.
* Registration Closes At 12 Noon.
* No Bicycles, Alcohol, or Smoking on Show Grounds.
* Only pets with a non-metallic leash will be permitted on show field. Owner is responsible for their pet's behavior and must clean up after their pet.

JUDGING RULES
* CLASSES A TECHNICAL JUDGED
* CLASSES B TO X and BEST OF SHOW JUDGED BY PARTICIPANTS (except in own vehicle class) FROM 12 NOON TO 1:00 PM (Ballots handed out at 11:30 am)
* Chief Judge will review all ties for place and decide the winner. Chief Judge's decision is final

10 August West Festival - The August West Festival both celebrates the music of the Grateful Dead but also the community in and around the Jay Peak Area. The Festival has grown a bit in size but the intent is still the same. It's a great way to spend the day - kids and well mannered dogs are welcome. There's lots of good food (including free Ben & Jerry's ice cream), and drink and plenty to do. 12 -5pm.
