Hunting for white-tailed deer, eastern wild turkey, and squirrel is outstanding around Bull Shoals Lake; and opportunities for ducks, geese and doves are good. Numerous boat ramps and parking areas provide access to large parcels of little used public land. Licenses for hunting and fishing are required in accordance with state and federal laws.
Hunting is prohibited in developed parks. These areas are indicated in red on the lake map found in the download section. Wildlife management areas, indicated with a texture, may have special rules. Hunters in these areas should consult the state hunting regulations. All other public land around Bull Shoals Lake, marked with green on the lake map, is open for hunting. Normal state and federal regulations apply.
