Harlan Lake Fishing
category : Fishing
Considered some of the best fishing in Nebraska, Harlan County Lake is about nine miles long and has 75 miles of shoreline. Walleye, wipers, white bass, channel catfish, and northern pike are favorites with anglers and account for a large percentage of the fish caught in the lake and the outlet area below the dam. Other game fish present in lesser number include largemouth bass, crappie, and bluegill. Fishermen are encouraged to use one of the fish-cleaning stations to prepare their catch.
North Shore Marina Store has everything you need for your time at the lake. If you are fishing they have live bait as well as many prepared baits. They also stock a wide variety of tackle, fishing poles, and reels. Give them a call for some of the best in fishing information. And when you catch that big one, they can weigh it in and take your picture for their \"Wall of Fame\".
