The Chocolate Experience is a wonderful selection of chocolatiers and confectioners, artistic performances, wine and interactive experiences. The event offers free admission and parking.. The weekend before Valentine’s Day. Event hours are Saturday 10 a.m.- 7 p.m., Sunday, Noon-5 p.m.

White Tank Regional Park Camping
White Tank Camping
White Tank Park offers family camping and Group Camping areas. The Family Campground consists of 40 sites with no hook-ups available. Each site has a picnic table, barbecue grill, a fire ring and plenty of room for camping. White Tank offers immaculate restrooms with flush toilets and showers. Overnight camping in the family campground is $10 per night. Sorry we do not accept reservations, the family campground is on a first-come first-served basis.
Large camping groups may reserve the spacious Group Campground Area 14. The group campground may be reserved by large camping groups, adult or youth. There are no hookups and no dump station available. The group campground offers 2 large ramadas with 4 picnic tables each, 2 large barbecue grills, one large fire ring, restrooms with showers, lights and electrical outlets. Parking for approximately 50 RVs is available. The group campground can be reserved for a $30 non-refundable fee. Camping is $8 per unit, per night, with a six unit minimum.
For Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other youth groups White Tank Park offers a separate area for day use and overnight camping. Youth Group Area 12 may be reserved as a whole (not per site) for any youth-oriented group with the intent that the activity is to camp groups of children under the age of 18 years. Groups must be adult supervised. The group area offers 12 sites that accommodate 1 or 2 tents per site, 1 small grill at each site, a group fire ring, 3 picnic tables at the fire ring, and restroom facilities. The youth group area can be reserved for a $30 non-refundable fee. Camping is $2 per person per night.
Other camping areas include Willow Rd., Trailhead Staging Area, and the Competitive Track Parking Area. Details are available by contacting the park.

White Tank Hiking
White Tank Mountain Regional Park offers approximately 25 miles of excellent shared-use trails of varied difficulty. Overnight backpacking, with a permit, is allowed in established backcountry campsites. Day hikes can provide some breathtaking views of the mountains and panoramas of the valley below. Horseback and mountain bike riders are welcomed, although caution is stressed as some of the trails may be extremely difficult. Shared-use trails range in length from 0.9 mile to 7.9 miles and range in difficulty from easy to strenuous.
In addition, there are 2.5 miles of pedestrian-only trails. These include two short trails that are hard-surfaced and barrier free. Waterfall Trail is barrier-free to Petroglyph Plaza, about 4/10 of a mile from the parking lot. The short loop of Black Rock Trail, which is about � miles long, begins at Ramada 4.
Competitive Track
White Tank Mountain Regional Park offers an approximately 10-mile Competitive Track in addition to its trails. The Competitive Track is designed to provide challenging, strenuous, and high-speed outdoor recreation for individuals, groups, and organized events. All competitive tracks are multiple-use. They are designed for cross-country runners and joggers, fast bicyclists and racers, and trotting/galloping equestrians and endurance riders.

White Tank Riding Stables
The White Tank Riding Stables, located at the entrance to the White Tank Mountain Regional Park, offers a unique western horseback riding experience in a 30,000 acre pristine Sonoran Desert environment.
What sets us apart is our beautiful setting with spectacular views located within minutes of the city, yet far from city streets. The West greets you the minute you turn into the Stables. Your knowledgeable guide will escort you on the ride of you life. Along the trail, you may see wily coyotes, gentle mule deer, sharp-eyed hawks. During a moonlight ride, you will be treated to a coyote concert or maybe an inquisitive owl demanding "Who" goes there.
ONE HOUR RIDES: $25 per person on the pre-scheduled ride times of 9:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.
TWO HOUR RIDE: $45 per person on a ride scheduled each day at 10:30 a.m.
PRIVATE RIDES: (Evening, moonlight, catered, day long, etc.) are $30 per hour plus gratuity.
WAGON RIDE: $200 for 45 min. Holds approximately 14 people.
PONY RIDE: For children 7 and under $15 for a 1/2 ride.
White Tank Riding Stables is associated with the Stables at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO which has been in the public stable business for more than 40 years. White Tank Riding Stable is open each year from November 1st through May 1st. Riders should arrive 20 minutes prior to departure. No riders over 225 lbs. All-day rides can be scheduled for a minimum of four riders.
As with all Maricopa County Parks, equestrians are welcome into the park riding their own horse and must stay on designated trails. Contact the park for more information.
