The Annual McPherson County All Schools Day Celebration began in 1914. The All Schools Day celebration includes a week-long carnival, two nights of May Fete, the Parade on Friday morning, the Madathon on Friday afternoon, and many other activities for kids of all ages. Harvey County West Park Fishing
The 310 acre park offers a 16 acre fishing lake stocked with channel cat, largemouth bass and crappie. The Little Arkansas River offers good flathead and channel cat fishing and is accessible to small boats and canoes.
No gas motors are allowed on the lake. There is a bait shop open during season with rental boats. There is no entry fee to fish, hike, use the beach or picnic areas.
An ADA compliant restroom complements the disabled patrons visit.
State license requirements apply for fishing.
