Mountain Shadows Theatre Company (MSTC) is the newest, non-profit community theatre company in the West Valley and the real "surprise" in Surprise, Arizona. Mountain Shadows Theatre Company presents its performances in the majestic, 500-seat Willow Canyon Theatre, with exceptional acoustics and state-of-the art lighting, sound, and staging, it provides the optimum entertainment experience.MSTC is dedicated to "Bringing Art to Life."At its inception, MSTC formed a partnership with the Dysart Unified School District to operate from the new Willow Canyon High School Theatre in Surprise. Since 10% of the ticket sales are returned to the Willow Canyon High School Performing Arts Program, support of the theatre also supports the high school.
The mission of the Mountain Shadows Theatre Company is to produce a broad range of theatrical presentations of the highest possible quality in order to provide hands-on learning experiences in all aspects of theatre production and management and a program of educational experiences in all aspects of theatre for both youths and adults of the community.
In addition to our mainstage productions, MSTC also presents educational productions. Our touring children's theatre production, "The Fisherman's Wife," has played to more than 750 elementary school students at a variety of schools in the area. These productions are presented gratis to local schools.

From the West Valley: Take Bell Rd. West to N. Citrus Rd, which is approximately 6 miles West of Grand Ave. Turn left on Citrus Rd. Willow Canyon Theatre will be ahead and to your left.
From the East Valley: Take Loop 101 West and exit at Bell Rd. Turn right on Bell Rd. and continue West approximately 12 miles to N. Citrus Rd. Turn left on Citrus Rd. Willow Canyon Theatre will be ahead and to your left.
From Downtown Phoenix: Take I-17 North to 101 West. Take 101 West and exit at Bell Rd. Turn right and continue West approximately 12 miles to N. Citrus Rd. Turn left on Citrus Rd. Willow Canyon Theatre will be ahead and to your left.
