Parks managed by the Corps of Engineers and the Pomona State Park have more than 653 total camp sites, including 346 with electrical and water hookups and 307 without utilities. A variety of campsites are present in all park areas that have abundant shade, a view of the lake, nearby playground equipment, and nearby fishing and boating. Six of the parks have shower facilities. Many have coin laundry, security patrol, reservable picnic and group camp areas and are close to full service marinas for boating needs.
CAMPGROUND SITES
Carbolyn Park - (Corps of Engineers) Fees include $14.00 electric, and $10.00 non-electric from May-September. The campground is located on the west side of the lake just off of U.S. Hwy 75. The campground has a total of 29 sites, 26 electric and 3 primitive. Carbolyn Park offers a boat ramp, dump station, shower-houses, and a playground.
Cedar Park - (Corps of Engineers) This park is a free campground, which is open all year. Cedar park offers 8 primitive campsites, with access to a rock base boat ramp. The park is located on the north side of the lake.
110-Mile Park - (Corps of Engineers) This park is a free campground, which is open all year. The park is located on the north side of the lake. The park offers 30 campsites, with access to a concrete based boat ramp, courtesy dock, and 2 water hydrants. The park also has two trails, the first the Witch's Broom Nature Trail, this trail is a short 20 minute walk. The second is the Blackhawk trail, which is approximately 33 miles long, this trial is used by horses, bikers, and walkers.
Wolf Creek Park - (Corps of Engineers) Fees include $14.00 per night for electric, and $10.00 per night for non-electric sites from May-September. The campground is located a few miles west of Pomona Dam Road on the north side of the lake. The facilities include 44 electric and water, and 43 primitive sites, shower house, reservable group camp, playground, and a dump station.
Michigan Valley Park - (Corps of Engineers) Fees include $16.00 prime, $14.00 electric, and $10.00 for primitive. The campground is located adjacent to the dam on the north side of the lake. If your are looking for a campground where there is something for every member of the family then Michigan Valley Park is the place. This park offers 53 sites with water and electric hookups and 38 primitive sites. The campground has a swim beach and is adjacent to North Shore Marina and boat ramp. All campsites are within easy walking distance of lakeshore fishing. The campground includes two shower buildings, dump station, three group picnic shelters (two of which are reservable), a basketball court and an amphitheater for special events.
Outlet Park - (Corps of Engineers) Fees include $14.00 for a site with electric and water. The campground is located below the dam on the south side of the lake. The park offers 36 electric and water sites. The campground includes a shower house, dump station, playground, and one reservable picnic shelter.
Wolf Creek Group Camp - (Corps of Engineers) Fees include $100.00 per night. The group camp has 24 sites with electric and water. There is a large picnic shelter adjacent to the group camp area.
Wigger Group Camp - (Corps of Engineers) Fees include $30.00 per night. The group camp has primitive sites only and a sand beach.
Reservations can be made for the Corps of Engineers campgrounds at Pomona Reservoir through the National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS) by using the toll-free number (877) 444-6777, or by logging onto the Internet at http://ReserveUSA.com . Reservations may be made up to 240 days (group campsites 360) in advance. There is no charge, but normal user fees will be charged by credit card at the time the reservation is made.
