Shawnee Town's Visitors Center features a permanent exhibit on display, "Old Town, New City." The display explores the history of Shawnee from when it was inhabited by Native Americans to present day. Shawnee's rich history is depicted through graphics, maps, artifacts and other collectibles. Visit Shawnee Town 1929 and learn about the area's farming heritage and how Shawnee grew into the city it is today.

Open Year Round 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
The Museum is closed on all public holidays observed by the City of Shawnee.
Admission: $3.00 per adult, $1.00 per child (ages 5-17), Free - children under 5
Hours: Open March to October 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday
