Mark Twain Lake Hunting Access Approximately 45,000 of land and water are available for hunting. Species available for hunting include dove, quail, squirrel, deer, wild turkey, rabbits and waterfowl. Natural resource management objectives at Mark Twain Lake are based on a stewardship concept of conservation and protection of natural resources for present and future generations. It focuses on sustaining or enhancing ecosystems in order to maximize their potential.

Hunters will find prime hunting grounds accessible from hunter/fisherman parking lots located throughout the area. Martk Twain Lake hunting guides are available and provide a detailed description of hunting opportunities in the lake area.

The David C. Berti Shooting Range located in the Warren G. See South Spillway Recreation Area offer visitors an opportunity to enjoy shooting firearms at three covered shooting pavilions that have universally accessible stations.
