Berlin Lake Boating

Numerous launching ramps are located on Berlin Lake for the convenience of boating enthusiasts. Boats of many descriptions can be found on Berlin Lake during the summer, ranging from small fishing boat and sailboats to cruisers and runabouts of unlimited horsepower. There is a 10 M.P.H. speed limit on the lake at night. The usually smooth water surface also provides excellent skiing conditions. The average depth of the lake is between 10 and 15 feet, but some stumps and snags pose hazards for which boaters should be alert. Marina services, boating and fishing supplies are also available through concessionaires located at the lake.
- With 3,590 acres of water surface Berlin is a lake made for all kinds of watercraft sports.
- The lake has an average width of 3/4 mile and it is approximately 18 miles long.
- No horsepower limit.
- All types of watercraft are permitted.
- Located entirely in State of Ohio.

There are 5 special zones for on Berlin Lake that designate varying rules for speed limits, wake zones, water-skiing, and sailboats only. For more information on these zones contact the Resource Manager's office at Berlin Lake.
